1. Enrollment and Confirmation

1.1. By enrolling in our training courses, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
1.2. Enrollment in a course is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

2. Course Information

2.1. The course schedule, duration, location, and any prerequisites will be communicated to you upon enrollment.
2.2. You confirm that you meet the prerequisite requirements of the respective courses.
2.3. You acknowledge that you have reviewed and understand the HKV Academy’s GDPR statement, which outlines how your personal data will be collected, used, stored, and disclosed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2.4. You acknowledge that you are aware of the attendance requirements, examination requirements and the medium of instruction and examination for the course.

3. Attendance and Conduct

3.1. Learners are required to meet the attendance requirements of each respective course they have enrolled in.
3.2. Learners are responsible for their conduct during the training sessions and must adhere to any instructions or guidelines provided by the Tutors.
3.3. Learners commit not to engage in any malpractices during the learning process and the examination process.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, exercises and examinations and online resources, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
4.2. Learners may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any course materials without prior written permission from the course provider.

5. Course Cancellation by the organizer

5.1. In the event that the organizer cancels a course, learners will be notified a minimum of two weeks in advance.
5.2. If a course is canceled, learners will be offered the option to transfer their enrollment to one of the two upcoming course schedules.
5.3. If the offered course schedules are not suitable for the learner, the organizer will provide a full refund of the course fee.

6. Cancellations by learners and Refunds

6.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
6.2. Refunds will be provided according to the following guidelines:

a. Cancellation made 28 days or more prior to the course start date: 50% refund.

b. Cancellation made within 28 days of the course start date: 25% refund. b. Cancellation made within 14 days of the course start date: No refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The course provider and its facilitators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the training courses.
7.2. The course provider’s liability in any event is limited to the amount paid for the course.

8. Severability

8.1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Entire Agreement

9.1. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the learner and the course provider, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
10.2. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
